The power creep is pretty serious compared to last season, and the free 6-piece set from the season journey is massive for jump-starting your early progression, you can basically be farming T6 within five hours of starting the season. You can still do fairly well playing solo - I've not grouped at all this season, up to about p650 playing extremely casually, and I'm only one conquest short of completing the season journey. ![]() And the prevailing meta is still DPS wiz + 3 support, which is down to a combination of a specific wizard build being hilariously overpowered, and enemy damage scaling up so much more than player toughness at high levels. The baseline XP of mobs at 70 has been hugely increased, but to compensate XP gear has been nerfed to shit at 70, so having 3 zDPS players stacking XP bonusses is no longer effective.īut the main issue is that group players aren't playing the same level of content, they're 10-15 GRs ahead of what a solo player can reasonably speed farm. XP for the same level of content has been narrowed, so it's not so hilariously unrewarding playing solo - it's like 3-4x as much XP in a group compared to solo now.
